I have a thing for cupcakes, painting them that is...I rarely eat them. 

I tried to get lose with this one. Thus the free-for-all of water while painting!

I love the photo effect called bokeh. It's that dreamy unfocused circular star-dust-meets-fairy-dust look in the background of photos. Anyway...this is my attempt at drawing it. I used color pencils and watercolor to create the image and had loads of fun.

I started this painting some time ago and just finished it. I decided to go with a whimsical look for the frog, give him some character. I did another one of the two of them on their life's journey that I previously posted here. I think I see a series starting, The adventures of Frog and Snail. And not to change the subject, but I love painting mushrooms. i love their organic form and deep colors.
